Earn coverage you did not have to buy

Press strategy, media relations and announcement campaigns for blockchain teams — built on the assumption that a reporter will check everything you say.

The problem

Most crypto announcements get ignored, and the team is rarely told why. The usual reasons are boring: the news is not actually new, the person quoted is not credible on the subject, the claim cannot be verified without taking the team's word for it, or the release landed on the same morning as something bigger.

The standard response is to buy placements, which produces a page of paid articles nobody reads and a media presence that collapses the moment anyone looks closely.

Our approach

We work upstream of the pitch. Before anything goes to a journalist we establish what is genuinely new about it, who is credible to say it, what evidence exists to support it, and when it should land.

Then we pitch reporters who cover that specific beat, with a story rather than a press release, and we tell you honestly when something is not a story. That last part is the service. An agency that pitches everything burns your name with the twenty journalists who matter.

Process

How the engagement runs

Audit

We review your existing coverage, messaging and spokespeople, and identify what a journalist would push back on. Usually two weeks.

Positioning

We build the narrative and messaging framework, and agree what you can substantiate. Nothing gets pitched that you cannot defend.

Media mapping

We identify the specific reporters covering your category and what each has written recently, rather than working from a bought list.

Campaign

We run the announcement — pitching, briefings, embargoes, interviews — and manage the follow-up.

Review

We report what landed, what did not and why, and separate earned coverage from paid distribution in the numbers.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can you guarantee we will be covered by a specific publication?

No, and nobody honestly can. A publication that lets an agency guarantee placement is selling advertising, not covering news. What we can commit to is the work that makes coverage likely, and to telling you when the story is not there yet.

How long before we see results?

Media relationships and narrative work compound. A single well-prepared announcement can land quickly; building a position where reporters approach you takes months. We will give you a realistic timeline for your specific situation before you sign anything.

Do you work with pre-launch projects?

Yes, and it is often the best time to start, because positioning is much cheaper to fix before it is public.

What happens if we get bad press?

That is crisis work and it is part of what we do. The honest answer is that the outcome depends heavily on the facts. We will not help you mislead anyone about them.

Will our PR affect our token price?

We do not make that claim, we do not work on that basis, and any agency that promises it is describing market manipulation.
