About TokenPR

A crypto PR and marketing agency that runs an independent newsroom — and publishes the rules that keep the two apart.

What TokenPR is

TokenPR does two jobs. We are a public relations and marketing agency for blockchain teams — press strategy, media relations, influencer programmes, launch go-to-market, content and SEO. And we are a publication covering blockchain technology, crypto marketing, crypto news and Web3 finance.

The publication is not a content-marketing funnel wearing a press hat. It has its own staff, its own standards and a documented separation from the commercial side, set out in full in our editorial policy.

Why both

Because each one makes the other better, and because pretending otherwise would be dishonest.

Running campaigns teaches you things about how coverage actually happens that no amount of commentary will. Running a newsroom teaches you what reporters actually respond to, which is rarely what agencies think. Our playbooks are written by people who do the work, and our reporting is done by people who are not selling anything.

The risk in that arrangement is obvious: an agency-owned publication can quietly become an advertorial machine. Our answer is structural rather than reassuring. Paid placement is labelled at the top of the page, carries no staff byline, is excluded from our news feed and news sitemap, and is never marked up as news for search engines. The newsroom does not take briefs from the commercial team and does not see the client list before filing.

What we believe about crypto marketing

  • Attention without trust is worthless. A spike in impressions that converts nobody and ages badly is not a result.
  • Coverage is a consequence, not a deliverable. You earn it by having something genuinely new, a credible person to say it, and evidence a reporter can check.
  • Disclosure is an asset. Labelled promotion outperforms undisclosed promotion over any horizon longer than a quarter, and it does not blow up.
  • Nobody can move a price, and anybody who says they can is a problem. We do not take that work.

What we do not do

We do not guarantee coverage. We do not pay journalists. We do not promote presales. We do not publish price predictions. We do not run gambling affiliate content. We do not arrange undisclosed influencer promotion.

The team

Our practitioners and reporters, their beats and their backgrounds are on the team page. Every article carries a byline, and every byline links to a profile.
